A stylish spring wedding at Curradine Barns, Worcestershire

Curradine Barns, Worcestershire Wedding Photography
Fiona & Dan got married at the stunning Curradine Barns, Worcestershire at the beginning of April. With the venue being a couple of hours away from home in Cheshire I set out the evening before to travel and stay nearby and arrived at Curradine Barns early the day of the wedding. The barns there were originally built as a grain store, with restorations and improvements creating a contemporary and atmospheric wedding venue with a charming and distinctive character. Fiona and her bridesmaids got ready up in the wedding preparation room - which is specially designed with mirrors, dress pegs and great light, perfect for bridal prep!
So much thought went into planning the day, from sentimental table numbers and seating plans to flowers and greenery at every turn, everything Fiona & Dan put together matched the venue perfectly. Fi & Dan were married in a beautifully emotional ceremony in the Granary Barn - an enchanting chapel like space dressed with fairy lights and a striking wrought iron chandelier, providing lovely ambient lighting for the ceremony, followed by drinks out in the spring sunshine.
Fi & Dan had mentioned on our pre-wedding shoot how they wanted to keep the day very relaxed and informal, and so we photographed a small list of group shots allowing everyone to enjoy their drinks and canapés without lots of formal images. Looking around the barns in the morning I found a number of lovely spots that I kept in mind for couple portraits so we headed out for a walk.. all of the greenery had finally started to come out too, my fave!
Dinner and speeches took place in the Barley Barn, dressed in white and dusky blue with gorgeous geometric candles and flowers on the tables. The barn is lovely and airy, with lots of natural light, and a twinkly fairylight wall making a fab backdrop for images! Afterwards I suggested we head out onto the lane behind the venue to catch the last of the sunshine, before Fi & Dan headed through a sparkler line and into their first dance together!
I drove home on an absolute high after such a perfect day and have been so excited to share more images from the day!
'' Thank you so so much. The photos are absolutely beautiful!! We can’t stop looking through them 😍😍 You were so amazing on the day, so professional and blended in so seamlessly with the guests! You also made me feel so comfortable - especially in the morning getting ready, I didn’t feel like I was on camera at all and you just helped the day run so smoothly 😊 We can’t wait to share them with everyone '' Mr & Mrs White
