A colourful engagement shoot at Shropshire Petals

Deciding on a location for a pre-wedding shoot might be tricky for some, but for Chrissie and Jack it didn't even need a second thought. Shropshire petals is Jack's place of work and they knew that August would be the best time of year for us to head out into the fields for their session.

If you've not heard of them before, Shropshire Petals grow sustainable petal confetti that is bio-degradable (a request that almost all wedding venues and lots of churches now make) and eco-friendly. The confetti petals are hand picked, slow falling and dye free - you can see how absolutely beautiful the natural colours are! You can get them in bags, boxes, pops, cannons, there's confetti for throwing, for tables and for aisles, and they even have a handy calculator to work out how much you'll need. and I've seen them thrown many a time at my weddings - the delphinium and wildflower mixes are so lovely!

We managed to choose a gorgeous evening for a wander out just as the colours were really coming through in the fields.. its a far cry from the weather at the moment! This is definitely up there as one of my fave locations I've been to this year and Chrissie and Jack were amazing, I cant wait for their Pendrell Hall wedding early next year, with lots of confetti of course! <3
