A sunny November wedding at Weston Hall
Updated: Jan 23, 2020
Jess & Kieran's wedding in November was one of my last weddings of 2018 and we were totally spoiled with all of the beautiful winter sunshine <3
Jess got ready at her parents farm before travelling by Land Rover to their local church in Maer, Staffordshire.. I've never been into this little village before but its an absolute hidden gem, with stone walls and tree lined roads. Maer Church (*interesting fact* also where Charles Darwin was married almost 180 years ago) holds very few weddings nowadays, Jess & Kieran's wedding felt like it created a lovely buzz in the village! The weather was winter perfect with gorgeous blue skies and low afternoon sun, it was beautiful to shoot in and the images of the girls walking up to the church look so dreamy <3
After the service, and in keeping with their farming backgrounds, Jess & Kieran headed off to the reception by tractor, first stopping for some group shots under the Maer bridge which is popular spot for couples married in Maer and also at nearby Slaters.
We all headed over to Weston Hall in Staffordshire which is a stunning grade II listed building, surrounded by 20 acres of beautiful scenery. On investigation inside I found the reception room set up beautifully by Jess' mums very own wedding dressing company - Trees By Design - it was absolutely gorgeous! The newlyweds and their guests enjoyed an afternoon of drinks, dinner and speeches before a firework spectacular to end the day perfectly <3
