10th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY - DELAMERE FOREST, CHESHIRE
Earlier in the summer I got a call from Sarah, who was excited about booking a shoot for her & husband Callum's 10th wedding anniversary. She'd had an idea on what they wanted - to renew their vows in Delamere Forest, Cheshire with just their 2 children. August has been exceptionally busy this year but amazingly we managed to squeeze in the Friday morning they wanted. We had no set plans other than that we'd meet in the carpark & that I was to look out for a little boy in zebra print doc Martens! They just wanted a lovely relaxed session, and so we wandered into the forest to find a spot to read the vows. Sarah pointed out a clearing they liked, and when we stopped their two boys read the vows that they'd written themselves for mummy & daddy - check them out below, absolutely adorable!
Afterwards we continued into the forest for some family shots, where by complete coincidence in the middle of nowhere I also bumped into one of my 2017 couples, Rachel & Phil, who were actually out for a walk on their first wedding anniversary which was lovely!
After our session Sarah & Callum's friends arrived & I left them to spend the rest of the day picnicking, building dens with the kids and celebrating their anniversary <3
If you're thinking of doing something special for your anniversary I'd love to help you capture the memories! See also Monica & Steve's fifth wedding anniversary session here...
