wrenbury hall wedding photography

I'll always have a soft spot for Wrenbury Hall as it's where Matty and I chose to hold our own wedding- we've such lovely memories and its so special to be able to go back and work there too!

Wrenbury Hall is an idyllic 16th century residence in the heart of the beautiful Cheshire countryside. With capacity to seat 250 guests in the Orangerie - which is beautifully filled with natural light, Wrenbury hall also features tastefully updated lounges, overnight guest accommodation and exclusive use for your wedding day. Recently it has created a stunning Laurent-Perrier bar, one of the first in a private residence in England. There is also a salon available for bridal preparations too.

If you're looking for a Cheshire wedding photographer to capture your perfect day at Wrenbury Hall I'd love to chat about your plans with you! You can get in touch with me here....

If you're looking for somewhere to have your pre-wedding prep, your wedding night stay or guest accommodation Wrenbury Hall has 12 rooms on site, three absolutely stunning bedrooms in the main hall, including the bridal suite, and 9 additional rooms in the outside courtyard. You can also find Cheshire Boutique Barns nearby for extra guests, or a night before stay.

More accommodation can be found in nearby Nantwich where there are a number of smaller hotels, and a Premier Inn.

Can we get married at Wrenbury Hall?

You can indeed! Wrenbury Hall is licensed for civil ceremonies in the Oak Room, the Orangery, and if you fancy an outdoor ceremony, under the Rose Pagoda. Or if you 're planning a church wedding there are some lovely small local churches, plus St Mary's in the heart of Nantwich. Your Ceremony are the Cheshire East registrars.

Matty & I were married at St Leonards in Warmingham before heading over to Wrenbury for our celebrations!

What if it rains on our wedding day?

Wrenbury Hall is a great venue for a wet wedding, it has lots of little undercover outdoor spots, a beautiful dramatic doorway and recently modernised indoor spaces that are perfect for portraits. Groups can also be done indoors, with the lounge or orangery providing lovely backdrops.

I use a very clever weather app to keep a close eye on the weather during weddings too and am very used to utilising gaps in the rain so you can enjoy yourselves

Where do you recommend for group photos?

There are such beautiful large grounds at Wrenbury Hall and there really are endless options, so it just depends if you want your group photograph backdrop to be the lawns, the hall, or lots of greenery and flowers. I love the flower beds to the side of the Rose Pagoda for groups!

As mentioned above in the event of wet weather we can head inside too!

Can we throw confetti at Wrenbury Hall?

Yes you can, Wrenbury Hall allow natural, organic confetti to be thrown outside of the hall. They have a fantastic toastmaster who normally gets everyone all organised for the best shots!

We normally try and do a whole group photograph from an upstairs window afterwards too!
